T3 Headlights
My pickup has 2 of them that work just fine. I've been told they are worth a lot of money.
Really? How much demand can there be? They are dim as hell compared to modern lights.

They are not worth much, I have many of them sitting in my garage and they are also available from the truck shop.

I can see the merit in exact resoration and wanting era lights. But the odds of that guy and me finding each other to make that deal are dismal at best.

Original T-3s are sought after for original restorations on cars that originally came with them. But, they're not worth what I'd consider a lot of money, just a lot considering it's just an old used head light bulb.

I don't know how old these are as for how long they have been in the pickup. Is there a date code on them somewhere to tell the MFG date?

theres an old thread on here somewheres that someone posted the differences between the years and even showed pics. do a search. im thinking about 2 years ago.
ive sold the 7" t3s for about 25.00 each on here

T3 low beams are worth much more than high beams to the restoration guys who all about correct overspray and chalk marks. This is because low beams are used 10x's more and burn out more frequently. (Unless you're that guy who drives in town with his brights on all the time.) Both my '65 Impala and '70 Caprice are sporting the original T3 high beams. I could care less about them. 50 year old headlights don't work that great.
