Kissimmee Mecum
I plan on attending on Jan 17th. I see two burbs up for auction which are also listed on ClassicCars
https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm...=FL0115-201788 which is on CC for $26.5k. It's been for sale in Sarasota since I got mine in May. https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm...=FL0115-201842 has an interesting Army theme It'll fun seeing what they go for. Anyone else going to this by chance? |

Re: Kissimmee Mecum
I'm not a fan of flat paint on cars. The blue one is nice
I'll be at Barrett Jackson next week. Maybe I'll come home with a Futurliner, LOL

Re: Kissimmee Mecum
That grey one has been for sale numerous times on Ebay. Wanted around $20K. About a year ago it was shiny and the wheels were chrome. It looked SOOO much better then, before the military theme! I actually almost purchased it but changed my mind.

That blue and white is stunning. I'll be following up to see what it goes for.

Re: Kissimmee Mecum
posted results in AlreadyGone's thread.
That was my first auction and what a fun experience. The collection of cars was incredible form mint to SN001s, race cars, full mods...you name it. Plus, you can actually touch them unlike car shows. Of course, I used that option judiciously. The process was neat, from a full week+ of cars organized by days to the bid goes on lot. I really liked the prepping area where owners were detailing and showing off their cars. You get to see them running & driving a little at least right before they hit the block. It was neat seeing the some cars not sell, then going to the bid goes on lot and seeing why like, nice paint, but few features. I could go on...it was FUN! |
