WTB: perimeter springs for my seat frame
I just stripped the cover off my bench seat on my '68 and found the drivers side main perimeter spring and both driver and pass side support springs busted. Before I buy a length of edgewire and go through the pains of building a new one to match the broken factory ones, does anyone out there have these in good shape that I could buy off 'em?
Also looking for the rod, clip, spring, etc for the slide release mech on the seat bottom. |

anyone? I really don't want to have to go make these springs, or go junkyard diving right now. It's just too damn cold to walk through the pick'n'pull.

last try before I end up buying some spring stock and making my own. ...someone's gotta have a seat frame that they don't want to sell complete and has good springs.

Re: WTB: perimeter springs for my seat frame
Im going to part out a bench bottom but I need a few for mine on the driver side of course. But if you have a picture of the ones you'll need I'll see if I have some left.

I need that larger spring that's on the end of the seat. ...both passenger and driver sides are busted on mine. The regular z springs are in great shape. |

Re: WTB: perimeter springs for my seat frame
anyone? with all the snow we're getting, i'm relegated to doing whatever I can get done inside. I can't get the upholstery done until I repair the foam, and I shouldn't repair the foam until I repair the broken springs. ...so I'm at a bit of a sticking point at the moment.

The ones I had were broken. I thought they were in better shape. Sorry
