6.5TD exhaust routing
Hey all... I'm planning a 6.5 TD swap in the spring into my 86 K10 and was wondering how everyone who has done this swap has routed the exhaust. I would prefer to not add a body lift and having dual saddle tanks eliminates routing the exhaust on the out side of the frame. hoping some have some pics of their conversions and how they routed the exhaust.
thanks,

Re: 6.5TD exhaust routing
Don't usually do this, but dieselplace has a whole bunch of people that have done this. There are a couple different ways and different turbo positions. Most of those are 6.2's with 6.5 turbos but the package is the same.

Re: 6.5TD exhaust routing
I would go with a super single 3" or 4" and route it inside the passenger frame rail. Any good muffler shop should be able to handle this.
