is this the correct rear bumper

I have a 1964 c10 stepside. It it the custom edition and bought from original owner. He says this was the actual rear bumper but it doesn't seem to look right. It curves and leaves alot of space. Any ideas.

Not sure on step sides but on fleet sides they have dust covers that attach to the top of the bumper brackets to cover up some of the empty space.

Mine is the same bumper except it's painted. The second pic shows it with the license plate attached. It fills in some of the gap.

I think the bumpers looks right but I'm not sure the mounting is right. It looks like it needs to be moved in about 2".

Then again I found this picture with a bumper with aprons that seems to be farther out like yours.
