1972 Panel or modified Burb?
Guys,
Curious if this is a Suburban where the back side glass has been replaced with sheet metal or if this is how a panel was produced in 1972. Found it on a Craigslist ad...http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/4847359472.html Thanks for your knowledge! |

Re: 1972 Panel or modified Burb?
Is it actually sheet metal? Or just a decal?

Would it be possible to scuff the glass and spray it? Maybe cut a piece of something the same size as the glass and reinstall it? Not sure how long the paint would stay on the rubber gasket.

I have sand blasted glass and painted it. The paint adhered very well. The rubber might be a different story though. LockDoc

Re: 1972 Panel or modified Burb?
Definitely a suburban. No panels in '72 and Panel cargo floors step down behind the driver seat like a K/5. I guess they could have changed that if the could add the door and roll-up window on the driver side, but it's a '72 and the seller is calling it a suburban.
