louver grill??
so as some of you know i have had problems with getting my truck hot. so my dad being a smartass said that i should make the grill louvered like the old peterbilts and autocars form the 60's. we joked and moved on but that got me thinking later on how cool that could be.
now i know some guys on here are nuts so was wondering if its been done?? if not can some one fill me in on how they were run back in the day? thermo? electric? bi mettle strip? i know i will most likely never have the time nor skill to make it but i think its cool and would be good for us up in cold land lol

Re: louver grill??
I know on the old cars from the 30s it had kinda a mechanical thermostat that opened and shut the grill.Might be easier to pull a pull cable like the ww2 troop carriers used for bullet proof louvers over the grill.
