Truck got broken into :(
So I was at my buddies house last night and I left pretty dang late. I come around the corner to my truck and I look into it and the glovebox is open and the door unlocked. The thieves ended up breaking my brand new dash, not even getting the whole deck (only the faceplate) grabbing the subs and thats about it. All the external speakers were there, even the ones that I just built boxes for and the amp is still there.
The good news is, is that I only have a 100 dollar deductible on my insurance so I can build it back up even better.

Yeah, the best part about that truck was the stereo because it was such a cruiser. I feel really fortunate about the insurance. I still feel like someone molested my baby, Some jerk that I dont know messing around in my pride and joy kinda makes me sick. I need to take some pictures of the damage.

At least he didn't break anything but the dash... It would have been bad if he had stolen the whole truck...

I bought a Ungo Box alarm off eBay for $19 and installed it. I also did a few "custom" touches to the install to make it unique.
One bonus is now I have keyless entry. |
