Power window switch
Does anyone have a pic of this quad switch installed? I assume it's on the drivers door near the vent window. Are they 5-pin connectors?

Re: Power window switch
Are you thinking of installing this switch up in the metal part of the door?
I've thought about doing the same thing but hesitate to cut the hole. No I haven't purchased the switch. Thinking of getting mine (with pigtails) from the junk yard

Re: Power window switch
Mine already has switches mounted in the metal. However, I've had to replace a couple and they aren't matched, plastic, and aren't nearly as nice as the real switches which I assume are metal. I would patch the current cutout and
Replace but relocate the driver door switches. With the connectors, they hit the vent window mechanism. I hadn't considered moving them down into the door panel. I'll have to look at that. Where did the factory install them? Yearone has the 4 door set with harnesses for $200 for Camaros. I'd like to replace the wiring too since it needs it. None of my local junk yards carry parts before '99. I'd really like to see these install on any vehicle. It'd be nice to hear from anyone that's used them. |
