Lets see them 67-72 Projects!
Just want to see others projects and introduce myself, I've been here for a bit over a month now, but I want to properly introduce myself by showing my truck and asking to see yours! Feel free to ask questions in the comments, and have conversations with others! Maybe I can learn from many of you! Thanks, now here's my truck

'67 c-10 cst 283 4-speed with the granny low:
Started too long ago, then restarted, and then restarted.....had many ups, and a few downs.....the worst being a cracked block because I forgot to drain the water from the rad during the cold Canadian winter months, so chalk it up to a lesson learned. All in all I love the truck, its definitely a part of the family, I'll never sell it....and who knows, maybe one day I'll get it on the road again. |

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!
A picture thread for everyone to see pictures of other member's project trucks isn't a bad idea. Build threads are another animal. Here are a few of a shortbed project of mine. All I have. I stripped the cab bare, primed, coated bottom, mounted it to painted frame, and hung stripped/hung doors. the 350/TH350 are set in there for storage. I have a nice little built 327 and M22 in mothballs waiting till I get the front clip stripped/primed and glass to get it closed up for wiring:

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!
Here's my 68. Started out as a longbed with a 307 sbc and saginaw 3 speed, now sitting on a shortbed frame with a 400 sbc and same tranny. Hope to have it done by this summer.

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!
The old 69 stepside is not much to look at right now. It has a fresh 40 over 350, mild cam, intake, T350 w/ 4.10 posi. It's 'bout half way there.

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!
love for these trucks. When I see a good deal I jump on it..one cab will be a parts cab. The white on I picked up for a local salvage yards with Vin plate for 50.00 bucks. Very little rust. If the forklift guys didn't bend up the passenger side roof skin it would been a 8 or of 10.

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!
I Love your thread and your project looks cool too. I am with you on this. I not only like to talk about my truck projects but like to chat with others about theirs. I think too many get hung up with this whole "Hijack" thing.
Heck we come here to not only read, but to BS with others about trucks and hopefully to learn and share ideas and maybe feed off each others inspiration. at least that's why I am here. Here's a couple of my projects 68 C30 1 ton dually short bed step side. Also got a 63 GMC shortbed fleetside project kinda waiting in the wings.

Re: Lets see them 67-72 Projects!
1967 C10 that was originally a 250 straight six 3 on the tree, but it now has a worn out 283 and 3 speed floor shift tranny that was swapped in before 1980 according to the title. Bought it in 1989 and have mainly used it for land fill runs, but now it needs a new bed because the one on it has a massive hole.

1968 C10 originally from Vermont. Six cylinder three on the tree. Going to paint the top white, clear the paint, and change over to 5 lug wheels. I want to get a set of 18s and 20s for her.
