New from Central Oklahoma

Hey all.

I'm from Seminole Oklahoma. My truck is a '67 C10 Fleet. It's been in the family since about '84-85 when Dad bought it out in the Texas Panhandle. I think it came from Pampa, TX. Anyway, it's that funky green color with aqua interior.

When I got it about 6-7 years ago, I started finding that the only thing original to the truck was the cab and maybe the hood. The drivers door came from a '70, one fender is black, the other white under the green paint. The passenger door was black, not sure of the date on it. The bed may be a '68 or later, there's a ton of bondo about where the side markers would have been. Also the rocker panels are red.

The doors, fenders, and bed are in pretty bad shape. I tried looking locally for replacement sheet metal, but everything I found wasn't in much better shape. So, I decided to go the new sheet metal route. I figure I can buy, for example, a door shell and parts, assemble it, and when funds allow get something else to put together, and put it in storage until I need it. Thing is, I don't have anywhere to build the truck. So until I get to build my shop, that's about the only progress I can get done on it.

It's got a 327 in it, but I'm not sure if it's original to the truck. The VIN says it came with one, but the amount of non original parts makes me wonder.

Anyway, that was a fairly long winded way to say Hi I'm from Oklahoma! As soon as I can get pics uploaded to PB, I'll post em here.

Thanks

Henry
