Hood adjustment
The front left of my hood sticks up about 1/2" over the fenderline. The rubber bumper doesn't even contact it, let alone be the reason. Is there another adjustment point that I'm not seeing, or can a gently bend the hood some way? (This truck took a hit when owned by the PO, right front from what I can CSI). It sits perfect everywhere else...

Re: Hood adjustment
Its possible the frame horn on the right is bent up . Take a tape measure and climb under the front an measure from the floor to the frame rail on both side and see what you get . Just be sure your on a level surface and all tires are aired up the same . If bent you will have to take it to a frame shop to get it corrected .
If not that it could be a bad hood hinge . I don't recommend trying the bend a hood very much . Bending a 1/2" is quite a bit . I have tweaked a hood before but not that much. |
