New Delco Moraine Brake Boost
At the SEMA show 2014, I talked to a good guy from The Right Stuff about us truck owners needing new brake boosters with Delco Moraine stamped on them.
This is the first one.

Re: New Delco Moraine Brake Boost
I think that's really cool and it's nice to see manufacturer participation for restoration quality products. Unfortunately these kinds of things are more for personal gratification as there isn't enough records kept or empirical evidence on these trucks to justify a particular brake booster, as there is an absence of tying a particular engine/transmission or any other number of options to a specific truck VIN.

Re: New Delco Moraine Brake Boost
Our truck came with the gold cad Delco Moraine brake booster. Others came with the Black painted type that I believe are made by Bendix. If you go to Napa or any auto parts store the Delco re-mans are without the Gold Cad coating. For the build we are doing I wanted the same chooses that Camaro and other Gm car restorers have. It looks Great too!!!

Re: New Delco Moraine Brake Boost
And you can also have your original booster rebuilt and replated, which is what I did. But replating doesn't correct any pitting. I'm perfectly happy with how mine turned out, but mine ain't no show truck, that's for sure.
That new booster is beautiful though, no doubt!
