spot lights pics please

Anyone have pictures of spot lights on there truck with the incorrect mounts? I was wondering if it is even possible. I try it today and ended up welding the holes up ,due to the fact the inside hole came out in between the door and the weather strip. Would love to find the correct mounts for a 64-66 but have had zero luck any help would be appreciated.

No I haven't mostly looked in junkyard and swap meets and ebay. I figured no one would make them anymore due to low demands. But guess it's worth a shot.

Re: spot lights pics please

UnityUSA still manufactures and sells the correct 187 L&R brackets. These are the “correct 187 left and right brackets:

Note in this template photo the inboard mounting screw is below the body line:

And in this photo with the spotlight removed, the inboard (external) mounting screw hole is again below the body line:

When the correct 187 bracket is used, the inside hole for the shaft enters the cab like this:

To save money buy the brackets new, and shop for an NOS "The Beam" spotlight on Ebay. If you have an old/original spotlight, all the parts from these 1980's vintage lamps will interchange.

Re: spot lights pics please

Here ya go. Hope it helps. Not the right brackets or sportlight. But I like it. And the brackets came with it so I made me work. Little bit of creative bending and creative stock removal. Bingo
