Removing (rather than being in) the Dog house. Tips??

Afternoon all,

Going to take my front clip off (doghouse) next weekend and wanted to know if there were any tips or tricks to make this a simple, rather than arduous, task?

Appreciate an advice.

Paul. Check out my post from 11-9-2014. I asked the same question and there is a reply on how to remove the "doghouse". Hope this helps

Thank you very much for the reference, Mr ChevySub. How did you get on with removing yours?

Mr Fleetside, I have a plethora of teenage children living under my roof. If they want feeding they will be lifting

Paul. I haven't taken mine off yet. Been working on my engine replacing a vent part and now that I'm working overnights at Walmart, I sleep about half the day. Someday though.
Good luck with yours

I removed one by myself with an engine hoist and tie downs. Still easier with two people. We are putting this one back on.

I searched for "removing front clip". This should help. It has a pic of which bolts to remove. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ing+front+clip
