exhaust pipe size.
Does anyone know the size of the stock cross over exhaust pipe on the 78 year.?

Ok i found out the size of the pipe it is 2 1/8inch and i need to put a pipe over that so what size do i need if anyone knows or could help me out it would be appreciated.

2-1/4" pipe is about 2-1/8" on the inside.

I just bought the same size muffler opening as my pipe, they machined it a bit at the shop and it slid on with little effort...
