1961 ignition switch
Forgive me if I missed it, Ive been searching all afternoon.
The ignition switch on our 61 is bad electrically, it looses ignition while cranking lol I see plenty for sale 62 to 66. Is the only difference the addition of an accessory position? Can it use the front nut i have? looks like i can use the cylinder i have Tha ks

I think i bought one for a 65 Impala with acc but has a flat face.

This one uses the stock threaded nut, and fits like a glove.
Searched for a 70 pu. But the pig tail i found along with the search is wrong. must be for the column switch.

Unfortunately I didn’t write down the part numbers in the master list, but I’m pretty sure I used a 57 Chevy passenger car ignition switch, bezel and front piece. I wanted the type with the finger grips that take the pressure off the key. I first installed the original retaining nut, and then somehow mounted the 57(?) parts in front of that. It has worked perfectly for a number of years. It may have been this one from Danchuk, I just don’t remember:
