windows are tight

Got a question about my 58 chevy the windows are so tight its all you can do to roll them down could they just need grease has anyone had this trouble before.

the window glass is tapered, if it's tight it will only be tight the top inch
it's probably your window regulators that need a little lube
pull off your handles and door panels and hit everything that moves with a little lithium spray grease
this includes any pivot, slide, roller, latch, etc...
no need to fill the door with lube, just a squirt while moving the part

The guts for the regulator need greased, probably the slide too. If its really old the internal spring gets play and starts rubbing on the tin "cup" that covers it and eventually wears thru. Before they were repopped I replaced my drivers side twice.
