Brake controller wiring????
My 2003 ram 2500 only has the 4 flat trailer wiring and my enclosed trailer has 7 pin. So I buy a controller with factory plug in for under dash which my truck has BUT on my adaptor at the bumper (4 to 7) I have three wires coming out blue/brakes, black ?, white ground lug... Where do I need to run these wires so the controller runs the brakes???? Not wanting to pay $70 hour for someone to install two wires!!!

do not hold me to it but blue goes to brake control, white ground, black may be 12v. etrailer.com should have a diagram to help you out.

Here's the problem though... My controller has the factory plug under the dash and is already plugged in but no blue wire to the rear of the truck...

Taking it in tomorrow... The guy from hopkins trailer adaptors and they told me where they go but I looked last night and there not where they said so I guess I'll just have to fork over some money to get it done!!! Thanks guys

Well got her done!!! 1.5 hours later and the guy had a hell of a time but now I have brakes, and accessory wore so I can charge a battery as I drive.. Time for a winch!!!
