Re: 1948 Chevy Panel Truck Seats
I'm not an AD guy not a Burb/panel guy but that strikes me as a reasonable deal on what I imagine are not something you see all the time. Especially because they're useable as is.
I just picked up a stock '55-'59 bench seat from Craigslist about 125 miles out of town but a buddy lives there and picked it up for me. It's got perfect; though dirty, gray tweed upholstery and for only $60! I couldn't pass it up since my bench upholstery is SO dry it literally cracks like potato chips! I'm gonna try shampooing the tweed seat and if it doesn't come out ok I'm going to try dying it dark gray, green or black. Anyone with experience dying upholstery? Source for the dye?

Re: 1948 Chevy Panel Truck Seats
Those aren't like the ones I pulled out of a 51 panel. I wonder if they used multiple styles back in the day.
