DFW guys who to use for C Notch?
Anyone in DFW area that is good with a plasma cutter and welder who care to do a c notch for me? Individual or shop will be ok. I have a guy here who said he can do it but I would prefer someone who has done this stuff before and knows what he is doing.
Brad

Are you going with a big notch or just a c notch in the lower part of the frame?? If you are just doing a small notch you dont need a plasma. For that matter a sawzall and a welder will be all you need for either.

Stoked Out Specialties in Rockwall. I'm not sure how competitive their pricing is.... but the peace of mind from a quality standpoint is always worth it.

Scoti beat me to the punch. I can highly recommend Stoked Out Specialties in Rockwall. Call Roger (972-772-0146), and get a quote from him. He did a sweet job on my 77...

Thanks for the replies guys. I will try to call SOS later and get an estimate. N2Trux looks like he did a great job on yours. I might even look into an airride setup.

Brad, they take pride in their work. The shop is rather new, but Roger has been around hot rods for a long time. He has worked at a lot of the well known rod shops in your area, as well as having a small shop that he and a partner built cars and trucks on the side...
Here's a pic showing how they boxed the frame. No bolt in stuff here. Sorry the pic is small.... |
