Spare Tire Carrier Bolt - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Does the spare tire carrier bolt come down from the frame in a hole below the sport bumper bracket? This is for a 2WD SWB with sport bumper. Pics would be great if possible!!

Yes it does and to my knowledge the bed was put on after. There was also a retainer/ spring clip that helped to hold it in place.
