Looking for parts for 61 GMC with 305 V6

Would anyone out there know where I can buy a power steering pump bracket and a crank and water pulley's? I'm new to this and keep making mistakes. I have a 1961 GMC stepside pickup with a 305 V6. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Ouch, from what I know the PS brackets for the 305 are very rare and if you do find them they will cost you. I am positive someone knows more about the 305 than I do so hopefully they chime in with some other options for ya.

Thanks but right now money's not the issue. Super frustrated about buying a power steering kit and now it sits until I can find one. Also need the crank and water pulley's. This is all new to me but hopefully someone that has what I need will reply:-) I have got a lot of help on this site already.

might try looking at the big trucks, 4000 series and up, and the cab overs that were gmc

my 61 gmc 4000 did not have ps, but it did have dual belt pulleys, which sold right away...

maybe the big trucks are more likely to have power steering , my chevy 60 series has power steering...

Try the 67 and later engines as well. Just bought a 64 with a 67 engine and it has the power steering...may be a tad easier to find. Keep and eye pealed on ebay and also you may consider subscribing here. http://6066gmcclub.com/forum/index.php

I also suggest you join the 6066 GMC club if you're going to keep the V6. Members there only deal with those engines and restoration activities. It's the best resource you'll find on that topic.

there are two different size pulleys used on GMC V6 so pay attention when doing your search
