CPP 2.5" drop spindles
First off I'm new to forum and this is my first post. I just bought Cpp 2.5" drop spindles from Summit Racing. Have anyone else experienced any problems with these spindles. Mine have the casting number for the 73-87 drop spindles on the back of them. However came with a "special note" that stated they had been modified to fit the 71-72 pickups. First off I don't believe the ball joints sink as far as they should. But believe this was done to prevent clearance issues with the a frame arms. I tested my old ball joints and new ball joints and they both go in the same distance. Another thing is my brake dust shield won't fit without modifications. The lower a frame arm hits shield. But my main concern is the outer wheel bearing. The outer bearing doesn't look like its as far back on spindle as it should be. It's half way on spindle and part ways on the threaded part. I know my back bearing is seating properly because when I noticed the outer bearing problem I took the seal out so I could see back bearing. And the wheel has a little play up and down. Ball joints are tight. Everything is new brakes, rotor, spindle, ball joints, tie rods, etc. I also cut 1 round off spring too. Caliber goes on fine. Wheel spins fine also no drags and is smooth as can be. I haven't tore drivers side apart yet due to having too move truck around to have room to work. Any input would be helpful. Just don't wanna ruin a brand new set of spindles. Here's some more info on my truck. 1972 c10 Cheyenne 350v8 th350 factory air conditioning power steering power disc/drum brakes. Just wanting to hear other people's experiences, issues, suggestions.

Re: CPP 2.5" drop spindles
The part number on the box they came in and are my receipt is CP4S3. The part number engraved on spindle is CP4S4. They came with a "note" saying that there castes with that part number but modified to fit 71-72 c10s. I don't have receipt in front of me. But when I do I'll post it word for word.
