Hickey Winch
I have an ultra Rare Hickey worm drive winch for sale, this winch is designed to fit between the frame rails and behind a stock front bumper. It comes with the original mounting bars but I don't have the solenoid box, that can easily be made or use one from a Ramsey winch. I've hooked it to a battery and it works. I really hate to ship this due to its weight but will work with someone if they want to pay for the crating. I can hold it for as long as needed if paid for up front or help with transporting as far north as Des Moines or south to Kansas City. 450.00

Re: Hickey Winch
Freight in a crate wouldn't be too hateful, to someone who had to have this. That would be me, but I also had to have the money and it's bad timing coming out of winter and being tax time

Bruce, it's yours if you want it, I can hold it for as long as you need if you want to go ahead and pay to hold it. My brother inlaw makes runs to Omaha delivering hay and could probably meet up at a truck stop along the way, just not sure when he will be up that way for sure. Omaha is not that far and am sure we can get it there one way or another.

Re: Hickey Winch
Bruce, no problem I'll consider it yours, take care of your family business and it will be here when you get time. Ryan (dieselwrencher) PMd me and said he will be passing thru at the end of the month and he could pick it up and get it back to Mitchelville IA if that would help you out?

Re: Hickey Winch
I have mailed a USPS MO for the entire amount from western Iowa 4/23. I will call or PM to arrange pick-up. Either I will drive down and pick it up or possibly meet your brother-in-law if he makes it up the Omaha way. I do appreciate the offer from Ryan (dieselwrencher). On the google map he is 144 miles from me and you are 154 miles. It just did not make much sense to be a burden to Ryan. Thank youBruce

I will send a PM, in case you are not following this thread anymore. Also, I feel I need to arrange a time to come pick this up. Are you available during the week or weekend? Bruce

Re: Hickey Winch
Well here is the follow-up, at least part of it. This is a Ramsey winch. It is a Model DC-200 Series Lever Equipped Industrial Low-Mount Winch. 26 page manual at Ramsey Winch. In the manual the solenoid pack is attached directly to the end of the spool gear case immediately above the motor. I am not convinced this is where Hickey would have the pack as it would cover up the Hickey Enterprises emblem cast into the spool gear case. Hope this helps someone. Take care, Bruce
