What parts of the original harness are needed?

Well, I've started trying to sort out the original wiring on my cab. I'm Still waiting on my new harness from BP Automotive, but wanted to figure out what parts of the original 86 harness I can get rid of. The wiring coming from the bulkhead on the drivers side that goes to the original motor and the wiring coming through the cab just to the passenger side of the distributor are the main ones I'm trying to figure out. I'm assuming that all the wires going to the original starter and alt. can go away. What parts of the original harness do I need to keep?

Re: What parts of the original harness are needed?

basically you just need the wire to power up your LS, harness, the wire that originally went to your distributor. You will most likley need to keep the starter wire too.You will probably want to keep the wires for the temp and oil pressure gauges also.
