Will the front crossmember of a 77 fit on a 74 frame?

Im doing a 64 rebuild and bought a 77 for suspention parts to swap breaks and 6 lug out. Can i just swap the whole frontx subframe? Will it built right up. Ive heard it does. Anybody done this?

There are many threads about this. Search for 73-87 crossmember swap. Yes it bolts right in, just a couple holes to drill/elongate.
