Steering measurements needed for my current drift truck
I have a front end swap out of an 84 c10 as well as the steering gear box, pitman arm, center steering link, idler arm. My panel truck is bagged with Michigan Metal Works arms and I have no steering stops. Currently I get enough steering angle to make a drift car jealous.
Will someone with the same front end swap and center link that's not bagged be willing to take a measurement for me? If you position the inner tie rod holes in the center link centered between/ under the frame rails and then turn the wheels fully to the right will you give me a measure of how far the inner tie rod hole moved outside of the frame rail on the drivers side? That should get me close enough. If anyone has a better way for me to figure out turning radius please let me know. That method just seemed about the easiest in my head. Thanks!
