Re: spid sheet question
Yes the first is the tool box that rust out in the bedside.the next door edge guards are the little stainless steel strips that crimp on to the back side of the door to help reduce door dings. and the WC JR mirrors are west coast mirrors but are the smaller variety. they look like something off of a big truck only smaller. Re: spid sheet question
It appears from your SPID that your truck is a 1970. The DG4 "W/C MIRROR-JR-LH&RH" were the stainless version of the mirrors pictured below for 1969 and at least part of 1970. These were later called below eyeline mirrors and were the same until 1972 when the tripod mount was reduced significantly in size. They were not small versions of the earlier west coast mirrors as they were in 1967 and 1968. I have included a picture of my SPID for reference.

Jeff is the only guy who does it correctly for a fair price. Just give him a few days to respond to your email. I am stoked with mine.

Re: spid sheet question
Have you checked up behind the side of the bed to see if it's been patched-in? The door edge guards just stick on (or pop off) the edge of the door on the latch side. Yours are gone. The mirror shown is what your truck came with. They were used 69-71. Chipflyer does very authentic SPIDs. You can even request period correct scribble.

Re: spid sheet question
. . . .
Here's yours turned the "right way" and a dark picture of the door edge guards: ( that "B" in the VIN means it was built at the Broening Highway Plant in Baltimore . . . I bet there is an interesting story on how it wound up in Texas !!! ) . . . . |

Re: spid sheet question
If the box is not there, then some work was done to remove it. Look at the backside of the sheetmetal and look for weld marks etc. If nothing, then the bed might have been replaced sometime in the past.
