Ball Joints

I have a 72 Suburban c10 with disk brakes, I ordered a set of 2 1/2in drop spindles from ccp, the ball joints will not fit, they are to big, even the tie rod end is to big. I went to O Riley's and picked up a lower ball joint for a 72 c10 and it will fit. any suggestions on what I might have going on, will the actual ball joints fit my a arms, please help .
Thanks
Kevin

Re: Ball Joints

I have a 1972 C10 suburban with the 3rd row seats. It has the 5 on 5 lug pattern, but the front suspension is C20 and the rear end is C10 or half ton. I could of changed it over to C10 front, but went with ECC 2.5 inch drop spindles for a C20. I originally had drop a - arms and as soon as I took off the spindle I noticed the ball joints were different. Is yours a C10 w/ third row seat option?

Re: Ball Joints

This is the lower a arm from my C10, but it has C20 upper and lower arms. 5 on 5, 1.25 inch rotors made me think it was C10 suspension front at the start of project.
