Bucking at slow speed right before shifting
69 Chevy C10. 350 260 HP Crate with Edelbrock Performer carb and manifold. HEI Distributor and relatively new(less than 5 k miles on HEI and Plug wires) plug wires.
Transmission is a 700R4 rebuilt as a "heavy Hauler" from Performa Built Transmissions. PO had it put in. Rear end is a 3:78 POSI Timing is set at 10 degrees. At very slow speed driving up a couple of small hills on a dirt road leading to my house the engine bucks right before the transmission shift to the next higher gear. I get a clicking sound from the transmission during the bucking. Transmission has a " Case saver". I think the clicking maybe the case saver. Any idea what is causing the bucking or the clicking? B |

Re: Bucking at slow speed right before shifting
Checked plugs they look OK. Doesn't do it on level ground. Only when slowly going up a hill to my house just before it shifts.
