OK, all you LS Converter Experts
I bought a 2004 GTO with the LS1 and auto trans to put in my 78 C10 Stepside project. It is a complete vehicle that ran well I got from my son. What all do I need to save from the car that will be needed for the truck?

'04 GTO's are very similar to '01/'02 Camaro/Firebird.
Cruise Module & pigtail PCM Engine Harness Air Intake MAF sensor Trans lines A/C hoses (You can have ends "Tig welded" on A/C high pressure sensor Australian cars have a PIM module (Powertrain Interface Module), You "May" need this module for certain input/outputs. Also....Being an Australian car, Don't trust "generic" diagrams online, GTO 5.7L cars are 1 year only & the Aussies have their own way of doing things. |

It is basically a '04 Corvette LS1 longblock, Probably the best year LS1, LS6 Intake & revised PCV, The GTO front sump oil pan will not work. A H-3/Swap pan is the beat deal for a truck.

If it were me I would keep the whole car until you are done . You will find you will use more than you expect to . All the little stuff will come in handy and save some money .
