Fuel Hard Line for rear mounted tank
Putting in a bed tank in the 62 C20 but didn't think of the fuel lines until tonight.
Has anyone used inlinetube.com for this? I've seen it referenced in at least one post but not sure if this is the way I should go. They say the fuel line is just for the 1/2 ton but I figure it should work fine for the 3/4.

Re: Fuel Hard Line for rear mounted tank
I believe that is just for the replacement of the factory portion, but I'm anxious to see responses as I'm getting ready to install my boyd tank.

Re: Fuel Hard Line for rear mounted tank
It seems like I could buy this from summit - http://m.summitracing.com/parts/sum-220256 but it's coiled and i don't know if I have the skill to get it right nor the tools to do any flaring but I guess I wouldn't need to flare it, just secure the rubber line at each end.

The inline kit is for factory tank.you can buy 6' lengths of stainless 3/8" tubing.i invested in a rigid flaring tool and got a bender from inline.used an fittings.worth the small investment imo.did a bunch of other things as well, fuel pump to carb, pcv etc.will post pics later

Re: Fuel Hard Line for rear mounted tank
I bought a roll of aluminum tube and ran/built/flared my own. Don't forget to put a vent tube on the tank. Make a 360 degree loop in the vent.

Re: Fuel Hard Line for rear mounted tank
Stainless is definitely the best way to go. But you can also use the straight length of coated steel line found at your local auto parts supplier along with some couplings. You can pickup one of those inexpensive tubing benders at HF as well as many other stores.
