Finally got my '59 Gmc running correctly

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2RPD6DSpZc

I put a new gas tank in it,hooked all of the lines up and it fired right up.I then drove it all around my area. The new Zenith carb helped big time as well

Well in all honesty the video is a little rough, but the truck sounded pretty good for not running in 30 years! It's always nice to bring things back from the dead. The more you run it the happier it will be. Best of luck with it my friend.

Is the "miss" an exhaust leak? I assume it is running smoothly based on your comments. Good progress, now on to the body work....

Re: Finally got my '59 Gmc running correctly

the muffler isn't welded on and I think the flange gasket is bad

the steering is really good as well
I found someone to do the welding
