Air Line Size Upgrade
I just finished installing my BCFab Level 1 kit on my 64 and have found the 1/4" air line lowers the truck a bit slower than I thought it would. If I wanted to go from 1/4" to 3/8", what all fittings would I need to get? I have the manual paddle valves that have 1/4" outlet. Would this be a problem, or could I just get a 1/4" to 3/8" t-fitting to convert this to the size the bags need? Would the lines coming from the tank to the valves need to also be 3/8"? Thanks in advance.
James

Re: Air Line Size Upgrade
You probably will only need to change the hose fittings to the next size up, and leave the threaded part the same size as you have now.
Using 1/4 inch valves with 3/8 tubing will be fine, it just won't be as fast as bigger valves too. It will be faster than 1/4" tubing though.

The paddle valves themselves, not the line size is what is limiting you.
I assuming you mean the drop speed is unbearably slow? |
