Headlight conversion
Is it possible to convert the round headlights in my 79 K5 to the rectangle ones that are in the 1980 without a ton of work?

Re: Headlight conversion
TY I put this question on the truck section and was told I would need to change out the core support as well. Any truth to that or did you do exactly what you told me to do? I do know the supports differ in many ways.

Re: Headlight conversion
Back before I replaced my entire front end with a 91 suburban on my 77, I put the sq head light in place of the round. I just replaced the buckets and cut the door opening to accept the sq lamp. So I would think you could swap the other way around with just buckets and headlight doors.

Re: Headlight conversion
I wondered if the core support would be different for the wider buckets/lamp. You should still be able to make it work pretty easily with a little trimming.
