Blazer carpet strips front and rear

I know these are very rare and not reproduced but what is everyone using in place of the strips? Something that looks clean and original. Anybody know where I can find a set?
Thanks

Re: Blazer carpet strips front and rear

For the rear I have used a piece of stainless bed wood divider strip. I purchased one without holes punched, and then drilled the needed holes. Looks very close to the original piece.

Really good idea. I have the strip but needs to be re-chromed.

Are there any sources that sell just the one strip? The sources I found sell the complete set.

Re: Blazer carpet strips front and rear

depending on price I need one strip too, would you want to split the cost? Read the post better......complete bed strip kit......not cost effective, but might be? again depending on cost?

Re: Blazer carpet strips front and rear

Classic Parts of America has them in stainless, unpunched, but also unpolished for $14.95, so I assume that is individually. Not sure how hard it would be to polish them though. I may try it out since it sounds like the best option I have heard of.

Re: Blazer carpet strips front and rear

I didn't check classic parts. Guess I will be ordering one from them. Now for the front strip. I don't think the bed strip would look good for the front right behind the front seats. Any ideas??

Re: Blazer carpet strips front and rear

Anybody have any front back and side pictures of these 2 strips? Thinking I can take the pictures to a fabricator and have them produce these items, from what I understand the rear strip has something where the weatherstrip attaches to.

Re: Blazer carpet strips front and rear

The original rear folds over, and holds the rubber in the fold. The wood stainless strip works fine, just holding the rubber against the floor.
