mustang tank vent questions

I have installed a 64-67 mustang tank in my 66 .i am to the point where I'm ready to mount my cap , I am thinking of using a late model cap mounted under a trap door in the middle of my bed. then taping into the fill neck mounting a vent tube to run up in to the bed side so I don't loose fuel from it sloshing up and out of the cap. I am just wondering if anyone has already done this or has any other ideas as to how to handle this situation.Name: IMG_20150709_175824_hdr.jpg

Re: mustang tank vent questions

You could run it up into the bedside and make a loop of steel line so water will not get in. As long as it is as high above the tank as possible I think it will be good. How did the mustang tank fit?

Like carp will not be doing it again. you have to move rear cross member back and remove a small brace and narrow the rails then I boxed the frame. But hey it's done so the only thing I can do is move forward.
