Anyone have pics of their lowered short beds drive shaft area?

I am building up a short box right now, but it didn't come with a drive shaft, so I am trying to figure out what I might need to get it rolling.

I already have the 402, T-400, & 12 bolt rear.

Pics of this area would be great.

In the rear, my beater 68 has firestone 2600# bags mounted in the factory coil location + 1.5" lowering blocks, a welded 'bolt-in' c-section, and an adjustable panhard bar all from CCP.

I've used the factory 1pc shaft originally equipped w/the truck for over 3yrs now w/o any problems (sorry, I don't have any pics). To give you a visual, the top of my rear end housing rides about 1" inside the c-section @ normal ride height (w/30psi of air). The bed floor (what remains of it) above the pumpkin is my bumpstop.

The biggest issue that I was concerned about: there is VERY little clearance between the factory hoop in the trailing arm c.member & the shaft . . ..... but it's only hit once in the yrs since being completed. If it hit repeatedly, you could eventually break the shaft in half under stress.

Since my 67 is lower, I did have to 'hog' the c.member hoop out w/a grinder for more clearance & then boxed everything for strength.

I didn't think any of these came with one-piece shafts stock?

Regardless, mine has a one-piece now (used to have two), let me see about the photos...

6 cyliner 3 speed shortbed trucks came with 1 piece driveshafts. I have three of them currently (the trucks).

I can go outside and get pics of the underside if anybody really cares to see it.

My '67 GMC long bed with a 305V6 came from the factory with a 1-piece driveshaft (It's now a short bed). I just had it cut down the length I needed. As SCOTI said, it comes real close to hitting the drive shaft loop. I have the same bolt-in c-notch that he has (from CPP). I removed the rubber bumpers that came with the kit, so when my rear bags are empty, the axle tubes rest on the c-notch. If I were to go any lower than that in the rear, I'd have to modify the drive shaft loop for clearance.
