5.3 instructions
Hi
Picked up a nice 49 5-window half ton and wanted to put in a 5.3 engine/trans combo for local/highway driving. I've searched and found bits and pieces of builds, photos and some info specific to AD trucks in this era. Is there a thread I might have missed detailing which years work best to put in these trucks (easier installation/wiring/hookup) as opposed to other years? Or maybe a thread on how to install this properly and parts/work needed for this. What should I be aware of or wary of as well? I will continue to look with different searches but thought maybe someone had this handy or could benefit from a new thread with notes on this install. Thank you GP |
