1963 to 1964 Frame swap?
Please excuse any ignorance on my part. Very new to these year trucks. I have an opportunity to purchase a 1964 C10 short bed frame very reasonably. The frame is a leaf spring rear suspension. I recently purchased a 1963 C10 that might have some frame damage. I recently purchased the truck and have not had chance to bring it home. Will the 1964 frame fit? Is it a bolt on? Thank you.

Re: 1963 to 1964 Frame swap?
63 through 66 are the same frames.
Typically, GMC is Leaf Springs, and Chevy are Coil on Trailing Arms. Most prefer the Trailing Arm suspension.

Re: 1963 to 1964 Frame swap?
I will add that a leaf spring chassis can be quite easily converted to coils and trailing arms.
