water pump question
I have a small block GM motor in 1982 GMC pickup. I have changed the v-belt assembly to a serpentine system and I need a water pump with a heater hose outlet. What should I be looking for in terms of year models? Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: water pump question
Are you talking about this port? if so, my 77' stock WP had this port.

Re: water pump question
I looked at a 1994 3/4 ton 350 in a wrecking yard today. Had serpentine with a water pump that had the threaded port. I have seen earlier ones with holes not even machined in the pump. May take a trip to the store to search their stock.

Re: water pump question
early to mid 90's water pump is what you need. It will be reverse rotation and will have a port on the top.
