New Grille guard and Body Side molding. - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Finally got around to installing the body side molding on my K30. I ordered the trim roll and not the precut kit. I have ordered the precut kit before and did not like the huge gaps. I also ordered new bed corner pieces instead of wrapping the trim around.

I've been on the lookout for a certain grille guard. My black k30 had a Mr. Pickup round tube grille guard and I always liked it. I've seen a few with flat bar frame, round center bars and expanded metal in the center. I found one at a salvage yard in OK while up visiting family. Had to piece it all together but I left with 2 corner speaker mounts and the grille guard for $40. I normally prefer the looks of the bumper guards but I'm liking my new grille guard.

Where did you get the bed corner pieces? Is wrapping the molding around the corner bad? Awesome looking truck. Mine will be here Friday.

When you wrap the molding around the corner it crinkles the chrome finish and a it's ruined. I got the corner pieces from LMC.
