1951 Chassis
I will shortly have my 3100 body completely off the original chassis. There are decent wheels and tires, all the original brakes, suspension, trans (floor shift but don't know what it is yet), steering box, driveshaft, wiring harness if the buyer wants it, cables, steering column, etc. There is also a GMC straight 6 motor in there, supposedly from a mid-50's truck, but missing the starter, carb, and maybe a few other parts. The frame looks to be in very good condition, but I have no idea if the motor is great or crap.
Am I better off trying to sell this all together or part it out? I know it's a guess or opinion but I'm looking for advice based on experience. How can I determine the fair value? I really have no idea and have limited info after searching. Thanks! Scott |
