Brake Help

I'm building a gasser and I've found a 51 chevy 1/2 ton front straight axle with no springs. Couple questions, total width from where the wheels bolt on, and what kinda disc brakes will bolt on to this? I'm going to have disc on the rear also, 8.8 explorer rear end. Sorry, this is not a chevy truck, but I thought you could help. Hopefully, down the road I'd like to build a early chevy trk for a tow vehicle. It'll be a street and strip deal, pump gas 496 BBC, but it'd be cool to pull in with a 50's or early 60's chevy trk towing this thing. Thanks, I'll try to post a pic. In the pic I have it rolling, but I'm pulling the nova subframe, Rocket strike wheels, 8.5 10 bolt, coil overs, and triangulated 4 link and putting it on CL. Also a 70 new Mustang tank to help fund this deal. So much for a big change of plans.
