Help - Painting the Underside of Cab

I am about to paint the underside of the cab. I want to turn it over on its backside like I have seen others do on here. I'm concerned about the roof lip lying on the plywood I am laying down first.
Is there a trick to this or something to watch out for when doing this?
Any past experience would be appreciated.
Thanks

My doors are off with no glass or anything else in the cab for that matter.

Mine had doors and glass out, but there is no difference aside from weight. I just flipped it over using a ceiling hoist. (I was solo)

You shouldn't hurt anything as long as you don't drop it when you flip it up, just get a couple friends and lay it back gently. You could even put a blanket or some foam down under the lip if you are really that worried.

Mine is on its back now. Doors off, glass still in. Doing under the floor and roof at same time. Mine is laying on 4x4s. As long as you don't drop, you will be fine.

Are the 4x4's under the lip across the cab? And across the bottom?

I've been rolling my body on its back and firewall with no issues of damage.
