Heat sheild help UPDATED WITH PIC!!

This is on the 290 HP crate motor. The passenger side lower boss where the heat shields would bolt to isn't drilled? There is a boss right next to it that is drilled and threaded but the bracket on the heat shield doesn't reach that hole.

This picture is not of my motor but you can clearly see on the left of the picture there are two threaded bosses. My motor has the raised pad but no hole. It does have the hole to the right which is not used in the pic....
