Is it worth anything
The 86 i just bought has a 305 with a 700r4. The tranny needs rebuilt as it is missing 2nd gear. Are 305's worth anything anymore? Do people still buy those or am I better of taking it to the scrap yard? Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Is it worth anything
this motor is carbed, and the motor has a nice sounding cam in it. When I pull it I will through it on CL and see what happens

Re: Is it worth anything
I'd try to sell it before pulling it out or at least line up a buyer. Always easier to sell an engine when people can hear it run.

Re: Is it worth anything
Yeah sell it let them hear it run before you pull will bring more money,If i can't hear it run i won't pay more then scrap prices,But if it runs good maybe 200 or 300 depending what the engine is.
