Seatback idea...What do ya think??
I took the black abs plastic seatbacks off my stock blazer seats and had some aluminum sheets bent up and cut to match. (I will tig weld the corners so they are smooth) Then I am going to either Line-x them, or shine them up, or I may even powdercoat them to match the interior blue and fad down to black. Any opinions on what would look the best?? Do you think if I just shine them up they will blind whoever is sitting in the rear seat??

I think powder coat blue to match the body would be cool.

You probley all ready know this but
check www.http://cs-m.com/. Download the catalog and on page 13 (rt side) you will find new seat backs for 79.00 a pair. Maybe even has some for less. I think corect color is best if you go with the aluminium sp?

Yeah Hatguy- I did know they made replacements, but I got the aluminum broke and bent for free, so I think I will be in it less and am going to do somewhat of the same thing for the cargo panels on the bedsides. I have these seats with the blue/black houndstooth area, but the blue in those seats is a medium blue (Int color) and my blue for the blazer is dark blue. I want the seats to look like they belong, so....long story short, I am confused on what to do to the interior so that the blue in the seats looks like it matches the rest of the interior. Oh and BTW I am doing the rest of the interior in black (Visors, carpet, console, door panels and armrests.)

I agree with bouncy. Powdercoated the same color as the dash would look great. It's just too bad the seat inserts aren't the same shade. BTW, Those seats look great.

JayDubBlazer- That was my thought on leaving it shiny aluminum. I guess the problem I am having is the seat blue being Medium int blue, and my blazer being chevy dark blue. Do you think the seats will look like they don't belong if that is the only med. blue in the interior? And if so where on the interior can I do the med. blue to make it look like the seat blue fits in??? Am I making any sense, or am I being to picky? - Remember the rest of the interior is going to be black.

the interior. Maybe a simi gloss texured black and the same on the side panels.
