Dana 44, 1964 K10 Front Axle photos
Below are photos of the front Dana 44 axle out of a 1964 K10.
Posting them for reference. Have more information on casting date code and gear dates, that will be posted later. Photos are not in any order. Les |

Ron,
Keeping and storing for any future use. This is going to be a truck for my grandson, we are doing it together. Posting the photos as part of the forms theme of "sharing and learning " Thanks, Les |

I was going to say that the knuckles seem to look good. they don't seem to be leakers. if they don't get rusted and pitted they will stay that way. good ones are not easy to come by. someone doing a restoration would be interested

Re: Dana 44, 1964 K10 Front Axle photos
Ron,
Thanks for heads-up, will keep them well lubricated to protect them. This truck came from AZ high country. We are pretty much doing a driver restoration, keeping the truck mostly original. Doing a few upgrades, that can be reversed and keeping original parts. Front axle upgrade to newer Dana 44 is main change, as we plan to drive it and have fun. This gives us disk brakes, PS, and front sway bar. Les |

to bad that you are not closer. I have the complete 84 setup that I took off an 84 chassis that was under a 65 suburban that I had bought just for the body
